Owner Education Intensive: 2 Weekends (2 Days Each)

This is a four day, owner-focused training experience designed to help you better understand your dog and build a strong foundation for training and handling.

• Two separate weekends (do not need to be consecutive)

• 1:00–5:00 PM each day

• Held on the ranch with real-world setups and distractions

• Focused on teaching you how to work with your dog, not just what commands to use

This program is ideal for owners who want clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of their dog’s behavior.

What You’ll Learn

During your time on the ranch, we’ll cover:

1. Dog calming signals – how dogs communicate stress, comfort, and intent

2. Clear communication – how your actions, timing, and consistency affect behavior

3. Reading body language – understanding what your dog is telling you before problems escalate

4. Bonding work – tailored exercises specific to your dog

5. Ethical use of training tools – when and how tools can be used humanely and responsibly

6. Seeing training from your dog’s perspective – how learning actually feels to them

7. Obedience foundations – building skills the right way from the start

8. Environmental work – helping your dog succeed around distractions

9. Understanding genetics – how breed traits influence behavior and training needs

This is not a “drop your dog off” program. You will be actively involved and learning alongside your dog.

• Please bring your own leash, collar, harness, and any tools you currently use

• Guidance on appropriate equipment will be provided during the program
