Meet Alicia Scholet, M.S., CPT
I’m Alicia Scholet, owner and lead trainer at Fulton Strong Canine Behavior Services. I’m a Certified Professional Master K9 Trainer, PhD student in Applied Behavior Analysis, and hold a master’s degree in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis.
With over a decade of professional dog training experience—and more than 20 years working in canine husbandry, veterinary assisting, and animal behavior—my work is grounded in both science and real-world handling. I specialize in high-drive working breeds, particularly Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds, while also supporting committed pet dog owners who want clear, ethical, long-term solutions.
Training That Educates the Handler
At Fulton Strong, the focus is simple:
we teach you how to train your dog.
I believe dog owners are their dog’s primary trainer. Real, lasting behavior change doesn’t come from quick fixes or outsourcing responsibility—it comes from understanding why behavior happens and how to handle it consistently over time.
My approach blends behavioral science, practical handling skills, and clear communication to help owners build confidence, improve follow-through, and strengthen the relationship with their dog. Every training plan is designed to make sense to the human on the other end of the leash.
Our Philosophy
Dogs learn best when training is clear, fair, and predictable. Using principles from Applied Behavior Analysis, I help owners see training from their dog’s perspective—so expectations are realistic, communication is consistent, and progress is sustainable.
Whether you’re working through behavior challenges, refining handling skills, or learning how to live successfully with a high-drive dog, my goal is to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed for long-term success.

About My Pack
My dogs are an integral part of my work, my education, and my daily life. They are not just companions — they are working partners, teachers, and constant reminders of what ethical, thoughtful training looks like in practice.
My pack is made up primarily of high-drive working dogs, including Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds. Each dog has their own temperament, strengths, sensitivities, and challenges. Living and training alongside them every day allows me to stay grounded in the realities of behavior, drive, genetics, and long-term management.
These dogs help shape how I teach. They highlight the importance of structure, consistency, and clear communication, but also patience, observation, and adaptability. My pack reinforces the idea that no two dogs are the same, even within the same breed or working line — and that successful training depends on understanding the individual dog in front of you.
During select lessons and programs, my dogs may be incorporated intentionally and thoughtfully to help clients:
Learn how to read body language and arousal levels
Practice handling around real distractions
Understand neutrality, engagement, and control
Gain realistic exposure to high-drive dogs
Their involvement is always purposeful and never used as a demonstration gimmick. Safety, clarity, and respect for all dogs involved are always the priority.
Living with a working pack also means holding myself to the same standards I ask of my clients: daily structure, continued education, and responsibility for the dogs I choose to work and live with. My pack keeps me honest, current, and deeply connected to the work I do.
They are not props — they are the foundation.
Online Training Lessons
We offer Online Training Lessons via ZOOM video conferencing for those that cannot make it to train with us here in Florida, or owners looking for ‘Quick Advice’.
Online Lessons are perfect for anyone who has a smart phone, tablet, or computer.
If you need help with a problem behavior or looking for a training advice session with our trainer, this is a great option for you.
