Alicia Morrison-Scholet, M.S., CPT.

 

Alicia Scholet, RMHCI, M.S., CPT. is a current 5th year PhD student completing a dissertation project on assessing the use of permanent products as measures of treatment integrity during computer based instruction. She was awarded an excellence in presentation academic achievement for her research symposium in Evaluating the Impact of Maintenance Check Frequency on Treatment Integrity in 2023 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology during residency in Washington D.C.

She holds a masters degree in Counseling with a specialization in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis. She is currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern obtaining supervision hours as an Assisted Outpatient Therapist to receive her licensing hours to become a LMHC. Alicia is also currently working toward BCBA certification through receiving remote supervision for fieldwork hours as a Clinical Behavior Analyst using functionally analytic psychotherapy and behavioral analytic technologies. Upon completion of the PhD program she is looking forward to pursuing a BCBA-D credential.

Alicia has been a K9 Trainer for over a decade and is mentored by Mike Ritland. She is a Certified Professional Master K9 Trainer; graduating from an accredited K9 Training school in Columbus Ohio. She owns a 5 acre ranch in Homosassa where she dedicates her personal time to rehabilitation of working K9s, and developing Elite Level Personal Protection dogs. Alicia has experience developing, writing, and beginning the implementation process for standard operating procedures inside operational K9 Facilities. She has a ABA background in Organizational Behavior Management, which is utilized to increase adherence to policy and effective procedures for K9 husbandry. Alicia has over a decade of experience with working dogs and their handlers, including LE, MWD, PPD, and sport level handler-dog dyads. She is available for contract work with mechelse and hollandse herder/handler teams, and is available for functional behavior assessments and development of treatment plans regarding problem behavior with operational K9 teams.
